Robert Vadra likely to lose ‘no-frisk privileges’ at airports

New Delhi: Standing in the queue for pre-embarkation security checks at airports might soon a reality for Congress President Sonia Gandhi’s industrialist son-in-law, Robert Vadra.

Current rules entitle Vadra to the exemption when he is travelling with ‘SPG protectees.’

Alongwith Vadra, several others might soon lose the VIP tag that exempts them from being frisked at the country’s civil airports, as the Civil Aviation Ministry is working on a new list of VVIPs exempt. According to media reports, 10 categories are likely to be removed from the current list.
