Margao: Goans for Dabolim Only (GFDO) urged the state government to formulate an "all-encompassing coordinated policy" for development of Dabolim airport to its full potential.
GFDO wished chief minister Manohar Parrikar good luck in his initiative to petition the central government to make more land available at Dabolim airport from the Navy for parking of aircraft. The group said that "it would be in the interest of proper professional planning, if the CM would hand over a long-term master plan for Dabolim airport to the defence ministry, requesting the total amount of land it would require, rather than approaching it with piecemeal and short -term requirements".
