CIDCO to hold hearing for pilot project

The City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) will hold a hearing for the objections and suggestions for the proposed Navi Mumbai Airport Influence Notified Area (NAINA) project between November 27-29. The hearing will be held for the pilot project involving rehabilitation of 23 villages which are currently on the land on which the airport will be built. These villages fall under the notified area and, till date, CIDCO has received over 3,946 applications of objections and suggestions related to the project. A special committee will conduct the hearing at the Belapur station complex in two phases. CIDCO had invited objections and suggestions on the issue between August and October this year. The first phase will cover over 2,733 objections and suggestions. A date is yet to be decided for hearing the remaining 1,213 applications.
