Akhilesh Yadav-govt. to introduce small aircraft services to link major cities in UP

Lucknow: In an innovative move by Akhilesh Yadav-led Samajwadi Party government in Uttar Pradesh, they have decided to kick start a special air service to link eight destinations with the state. For the same, the UP Chief Minister also announced several facilities for private airlines.

With this move, the state government has made travelling easy for few rich category people of the state, who will not have to waste their time travelling in trains and buses.

Soon Lucknow Airport will see beginning of Vistara and Northeast Shuttle Airlines services. These aero-planes will have 10-15 seating capacity.

Shuttle Airlines will take the passengers to Agra, Varanasi and Allahabad while Vistara will travel across Lucknow to Delhi. This is being looked as a revolutionary move by the SP government as the passengers had to spend 5-6 hours to travel from Lucknow to Allahabad but now it will only take 20 minutes.
