Amid airlines offering hefty discounts in order to attract customers, budget carrier IndiGo has now announced domestic all-inclusive fares starting as low as Rs 1,395.
IndiGo's 'lower than low' scheme offers tickets for travel from Delhi to destinations including Goa, Mumbai, Pune, Jaipur, Chennai, Bengaluru and Kolkata. Bookings under this offer have to be "made 90 days before travel date", says IndiGo, India's largest airline in terms of domestic market share.
While Delhi-Jaipur tickets are priced at Rs 1,395 - the lowest under this scheme - Delhi-Lucknow is available for Rs 1,647, Delhi-Mumbai at Rs 2,895, Delhi-Kolkata at Rs 3,861 and Delhi-Goa at Rs 4,694, among others.
Airlines in the domestic market have time and again offered discounted lower fares to lure more business than rivals.
