'Timeline not fixed for deciding aeronautical tariff at IGIA'

New Delhi: The government today told the Lok Sabha that AERA has not fixed a "definite timeline" for determining aeronautical tariff with respect to Delhi international airport for the five-year period from April 1, 2014.

The Airports Economic Regulatory Authority (AERA) decides the tariff and other charges for the aeronautical services rendered at major airports, including that of Delhi and Mumbai.

AERA has issued a consultation paper for determination of aeronautical tariffs in respect of Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA), Delhi, for the second control period -- April 1, 2014 to March 31, 2019.
