Kolkata: IndiGo has launched its maiden flight from Dimapur to Kolkata recently. The same aircraft will operate to Delhi and connect Dimapur and Delhi (via Kolkata). With the launch of this sector, IndiGo announced Dimapur as its 33rd domestic and 38th overall destination. Chief Minister of Nagaland T. R. Zeliang was present at the commencement of the flight, along with Member Legislative Assembly, Imtiwapang and IndiGo President Aditya Ghosh. The inaugural flight from Dimapur took off with 116 passengers on board.
