Thiruvananthapuram: Hindu Aikyavedi general secretary Kummanam Rajasekharan will leave for Delhi on Thursday to demand not to grant sanction for the proposed Aranmula Airport. He is likely to meet Defence Minister Manohar Parikkar, Environment Minister Prakash Javadekkar, Aviation Minister Ashok Gajapathy Raju and Minister of State Mahesh Sarma and will express his discontent. If permission is given, protests would be launched.
The RSS entrusted Kummanam Rajasekharan to strike against the project. BJP’s main campaign issue was Aranmula in Pathanamthitta constituency in the Lok Sabha polls.
