Mumbai: ONGC operations from the Juhu airport were affected on Friday morning as a fire engine was stuck on the main runway due to a mechanical failure.
The Juhu fire Brigade’s fire engine broke down during the routine runway inspection of the Juhu airport’s main runway 08-26 around 7.30am, resulting in all departures being put on hold.
Till 10.30am, Juhu’s secondary runway 16-34 was used only for departures and arrivals were not allowed.
