Jet Airways, one of India’s premier international airline, has extended its seat selection product to the airlines’ travel agent partners. This enables guests the opportunity to pre-select their preferred seat, while booking through the travel agents. This will be valid on select international and domestic routes serviced by the airlines’ Boeing 737 aircraft to begin with, and will include the entire network shortly.
Travel agents can now pre-select seats up to 48 hours of departure for guests, booked by them. The preferred seats for guests will be available for pre-selection at a nominal charge of INR 500 on the domestic sector, and INR 800 on the international sector. The charges will reflect in the respective local currencies where the booking originates.
