Visakhapatnam: Surveys are being conducted by three teams for acquisition of 5,040 acres of land for the proposed new Visakhapatnam International Airport at Bhogapuram in Vizianagaram district.
Minister for HRD Ganta Srinivasa Rao held a review meeting here in this regard on Monday.
The Minister sought information from officials about the status of land acquisition. The officials informed that two plans had been made for land acquisition. The three teams would be headed by Deputy Collectors.
