JALANDHAR: Minister of state Vijay Sampla on Friday claimed that ministry of defence had given its nod for domestic airport at Adampur by acquiring more land.
"Defence minister Manohar Parrikar told me that his ministry has agreed to the project in principle and given its 'no objection' to the proposal. This was the most crucial stage for the project as now civil aviation ministry would be able to start the work," Sampla told TOI on phone.
