Budget carrier SpiceJet started a fresh round of fare war on Monday after it launched a discount scheme called "Red Hot Fares Sale", offering all-inclusive tickets as low as Rs 1,899.
The SpiceJet offer came after its rival AirAsia India introduced a promotional scheme.
To avail the SpiceJet offer, tickets must be booked between July 6-8, for travel between July 15 and September 30.
SpiceJet has offered the promotional schemes on southern and western sectors. It is applicable on routes like Ahmedabad-Mumbai, Ahmedabad-Pune, Bengaluru-Chennai, Bengaluru-Hyderabad, and Goa-Mumbai.
AirAsia under its promotional scheme is offering fares from Rs 999 on Bengaluru-Goa, Bengaluru-Kochi, Bengaluru-Pune and Guwahati-Imphal routes.
