A 3D Tourist Map of Odisha will be put up at the Biju Patnaik Airport, as part of the drive to capitalise on the Annual Convention of the Federation of Hotel and Restaurants Association of India ( FHRAI) scheduled to be held here from 25 to 27 September.
Chief Secretary Gokul Chandra Pati has asked concerned officers to promote Odisha tourism on World Tourism Day and orient the events of the celebration towards inviting more investments to the state.
The World Tourism Day and organisation of the 50th Annual Convention of the Federation of Hotel & Restaurants Association of India (FHRAI) in the state provides a great opportunity to showcase Odisha tourism, he observed.
The state government has decided to hold these two events under joint collaboration between the department of tourism and FHRAI.
