Jet Airways, SpiceJet surge after fuel price cut

NEW DELHI: Aviation stocks jumped up to 8 per cent in trade on Monday after India Oil Corp said it has cut aviation turbine fuel (ATF) prices by 8.4 per cent to 9.7 per cent.

Jet Airways surged 8.59 per cent to hit its intraday high of Rs 434.70 on the BSE.

Low-cost carrier SpiceJet gained 5.50 per cent to hit its day's high of Rs 28.75 on the exchange.
