Hyderabad: State government on Wednesday gave its nod to Bhogapuram International Airport Corporation Limited (BIACL) to seek loans to the tune of Rs. 1500 crore to meet the costs towards pre-development activities.
At the first meeting of the Board of Directors of the newly incorporated BIACL held recently, the corporation was authorised to seek loans from banks/ infrastructure lending organisations/ financial institutions to meet pre-development costs for land acquisition, R & R and provision of external infrastructure such as approach roads and water/power connection, among others. The board also requested the government to post a full-time managing director for smooth conduct of its operations.
