More flights likely to city from Delhi, Mumbai

Jaipur: The Airport Authority of India (AAI) and Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) have written to various airlines to bring big aircrafts for the upcoming Resurgent Rajasthan summit. Airlines have also been urged to increase the frequency of flights between from Jaipur to Delhi and Mumbai. Since the summit is also coinciding with the tourist season, the authorities have also asked the airlines to increase the frequency between other tourist destinations, including Udaipur and Jodhpur.

AAI, Jaipur officials held meetings with the DGCA, state government to ensure that delegates and investors should have a hassle-free travel to Jaipur.

According to sources, a protocol office would also be set up at the Jaipur airport to receive and facilitate the delegates and investors.
