Therapy Dogs To Help Passengers Calm Down

There's nothing like an airport to trigger phobias. Fear of flying, fear of people, fear of wide spaces, and then fear of cramped spaces (i.e. inside the flight).
Mumbai Airport's international terminal just did a tiny thing to make a huge difference - they've appointed two trained therapy dogs, the Hindustan  Times reported. US airports have long been placing therapy dogs at airports ever since a fear of flying became common after 9/11. These two Labradors are still sniffer dogs, but they've been trained by Pune's Animal Angels Therapy Centre to sniff out your fear. “The feedback to our pilot project which started 10 days ago was overwhelming. People did not expect such an initiative,” a Mumbai International Airport Limited (MIAL) spokesperson told the Hindustan Times.
