New Delhi: An Italian woman who created aflutter onboard a domestic flight on Saturday night by saying she had a bomb on her mind, was let off after being found innocent.
“I have a bomb on my mind,” Valentine Gatter-Meier (30), the Italian, told a co-passenger on board the Indian Airlines Delhi-Ahmedabad flight triggering evacuation of the aircraft.
Gatter-Meier was under medication and having a splitting headache, police sources said adding that her crouching posture raised suspicions and led to a miscommunication about the ‘bomb on her mind’.
She was interrogated jointly by a team of Intelligence Bureau, CISF and Delhi police officials and found to be innocent, they said adding that she was let off later.
